Quirky hotel with lovely interior and attentive hosts. Great location. Breakfast had local products and the room was spotless. Enjoyed the quaint village and castle.
Oh, nothing beats the joy of wandering around aimlessly, desperately searching for a staff member at a nearby Parador for a cup of coffee. Such excitement.

From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm and genuine welcome from the friendly owners of Hierbaluisa. They made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The homemade breakfast was exceptional, with delicious cake and marmalade that added a special touch. The cozy bedroom had great heating and cooling options, ensuring my comfort. Despite the small size, it had everything I needed. I was also impressed by the big smart TV on the wall, even though it only had Spanish channels. Parking was easy and convenient, with plenty of free spaces nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a delightful stay at Hierbaluisa in a charming village. the owners, José and Luisa, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the breakfast they prepared was outstanding, especially the homemade cake and marmalade. the cozy bedroom had excellent heating and cooling facilities, although it was on the smaller side, it was more than adequate. We loved the big smart TV on the wall, even though it only had Spanish channels. there was convenient free parking available nearby. We highly recommend Hierbaluisa, but do keep in mind that the owners don't speak English. Cons: All was perfect! 👌.

Amazing views from the room and friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate us and meet our needs. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the location was perfect for a secluded romantic escape.
The lack of a bar in the hotel definitely detracted from the experience. It would have been nice to have a place to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening and relax after a long day of exploring.

A Quirky Stay in a Lovely Village
As young people, we loved the authentic local experience, with a host who spoke clear Castilian Spanish. the delicious revuelto with jamón ibérico for breakfast was superb. the hotel's location in the middle of a charming village made it easy to explore. the room, though compact, was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Free parking within 50 meters was a convenient bonus.
Felt truly spoilt, no complaints.

Spending New Year's Eve at this charming small hotel was one of our best experiences. the home-made breakfast, with local produce, was delicious and the dining area was cozy and inviting. We also enjoyed the stunning medieval views of the village and the nearby scenery. the room was modern and spotlessly clean, offering all the necessary amenities and comforts. the friendly hosts made us feel welcome and were always available to answer any questions.
Due to its remote location, it was difficult to communicate in English as Spanish is the main language. there were no nearby bars or public areas to sit and relax, which could have been nice during the evenings.

My recent stay at a lovely rural hotel was amazing, with fantastic medieval views. the setting was just beautiful, and I had everything I needed right at my fingertips. Not only was the room modern and chic, but it was clean and well, appointed with a comfortable bathroom. the fruit, toast, cooked meats, and cake at breakfast were top, notch. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was nice to be able to practice my Spanish. the hotel was located right near the edge of a small, fascinating village, making it easy to explore the area.
There was no bar on, site, which would have been nice to unwind in during the evening.
